The Older I Get

The older I get the more I stay quiet in places where only ego stays

The older I get the more I realize nothing is mine and nothing is yours

The older I get the more I love myself

The older I get the more I see no one is yours other than yourself

Life doesn't need control, life happens when you let go

The older I get the more I let go

Now I know nothing is meant forever

Life isn't forever

The older I get the more beautiful life gets than scary

But who am I to lie to say I don't get sacred

Though the older I get the more I know that life will play good out for me and you no matter what

The older I get I live without needing to control but more out of love and growth

The older I get the more I learn

Life is unfairly beautiful
