Viva la Vida

“C'est la vie”, “Carpe diem” the words I read ever so often when I stumble across another bio written by someone not anywhere in their 30s

Do they realize the meaning of the words? I wonder,

Maybe they do or maybe they wrote it for the sake of putting something in their bio.

Looking around I wonder if we ever realize the power of the words that we say so easily yet never pay heed to them afterwards.

Life would be easy wouldn't it? If we all decided to be kind and what not.

The irony some people have who say something so profound yet do the exact opposite.

The meanest person you know can write “be kind to others” online and get the likes right?

Though that might sound tempting to others, it's saddening to the ones who know and have lived life.

Life is meant to be lived with love, creation, humanity, kindness.

Amidst in a world where we have forgotten something so simple.

Let's remember that life is simple, not easy yet simple.

Let's not complicate it.

“Viva la vida”, long live life is something we  should live by.

Long live life even when times are hard, the world is chaotic and the noises are too loud.

That's when we need words like these.

Let's live life and honor this experience, Viva la vida.
